92nd Annual Mayne Island Fall Fair

Mayne Island Agricultural Hall and Grounds

 

Schedule of Event

 9:00   am    -Road Closure

10:00 am    -Fair grounds open

-Gold Nugget Cafe opens on the Hall Patio serving sandwiches, sweets,                            coffee, tea and lemonade

-Farmers Market and Community Groups on Minty Drive

-Museum /Gaol and Barn open

-Parade assembly, Fernhill and Campbell Bay Rd with walkers at Fernhill                          and Mill Rd

11:30 am    -Parade begins

12:00 pm    -Fall Fair and Hall declared open by long time resident, Marie Elliott

-Master of Ceremonies, Brian Haller will announce door prizes and activities                     throughout the day

12:10 pm   -Mr. Bubbles Magic Show

12:25 pm   -Pender Highlanders Pipe Band

12:40 pm   -Zucchini Races

2:00   pm   -Eric the Juggler

2:20   pm   -Adult Trophy awards

2:35   pm   -Zucchini Race Grand Champion finals

3:00   pm   -Children’s Trophy awards and Zucchini Race awards and prizes

3:30   pm   -Tug of War

4:00   pm   -Raffle Draw

-Fair Closes

ONGOING MAIN GROUNDS ACTIVITIES:

Mr. Bubbles the Balloon Clown, Eric the Juggler, Demos of Weaving and Spinning,

Conservancy and Recycling games, Log Sawing, Raffle Ticket sales, Water refill station

The Lions will be serving their famous hot dogs and hamburgers and calling                    Bingo on Dixon Road.  The Gold Nugget Cafe on the patio will be open from                    10:00 am

Water and pop available from 12:00 pm.

 

MUSEUM / THRIFT  SHOP  AREA  ACTIVITIES:

Museum and Barn, Gold Panning, Miniature Horse, Chickens, Old Farm                            Equipment,

Display showcasing local produce and products

Please keep in mind that exhibits must remain in the Hall until the Fair closes at 4:00 pm.

The Agricultural Society would like to thank each and every volunteer, the judges, exhibitors, service groups, advertisers, sponsors, the donors of the wonderful prizes for our Raffle and door prizes and the community for the support given to the Fall Fair each year.  Without your support, our Fair would not be possible.
